I did buy one (never had a wii), and oh my, did I have my fun with it!... it is still being used today, even when I have had the Xbox one for years, and now the series X. The Wii got released in 2006, the Wii U in 2012, and the Switch in 2017, so it got practically the same lifespan as the Wii (half a year less). I agree the naming was "dumb", it tried to put "you" in the game, as you could move the remote to move around as well, a novelty though, but as the Kinect, something that doesn't get that used after some plays. I mainly used the console to play Black Ops 2 and loved it. And it is great to just have as a hand console to play some "childish" games like Super Mario, or Splatoon, sometimes. I can be in bed, and play when I'm sick too. Yeah, you can do that with the DS, or the Switch now... The Switch is the Wii U on steroids practically, a logical evolution, that wouldn't have happened if they didn't think the Wii U was a good idea. It sold poorly, but that's because of failed marketing strategy. They should have always had 2FA and it's good they finally force it as default now Also the fire thing is blown way out of scale. If you did a little research you'd learn it was caused by people screwing wood screws directly into the battery which is a bit idiotic. Great video except Google Stadia. I use it since 2 months and with the stadia controller i have no input lag. Just use it as it was meant to be played with a chromecast and the stadia controller. It is my main gaming hub right now. Stadia is not failure. It actually was the best option to play cyberpunk vs console. They even give u a chromecast and controller for free with the resident evil village pre order (as long as available). If google isent abandoning stadia this will be a big thing in the future.
